Therapy

Services provided to residents of Indiana, Michigan, and Arizona

As a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, I provide individual and couples therapy both in-person and via video. While I primarily work with women and female-identifying clients, I am open to working with anyone who feels I'm the best fit for them. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and celebrating.

I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, which is one of the most widely used and effective treatments for trauma and have extensive training in trauma-informed therapy.

My approach is integrative, holistic, systemic, and intuitive. I choose interventions based on clients' needs, backgrounds, and diagnoses, and consider the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual factors at play. I believe in looking at all the systems involved in an individual or couple's life - from one's family of origin and extended family to their community, society/culture, and the world at large. Additionally, I use my own intuition when sitting with clients and will often share what I'm sensing and "seeing" in response to our work together.

My areas of interest and specialty are as follows:

  • Trauma / religious trauma

  • Attachment

  • Relationships

  • Parenting / motherhood

  • Life transitions

  • Divorce

  • Self-worth and reclamation

My go-to modalities and interventions include EMDR, parts work, narrative therapy, experiential therapy, and somatic experiencing. I also enjoy utilizing meditation and mindfulness as well as writing as healing tools with clients.

I believe that people change within relationship which is why therapy is such an effective tool for healing, growth, and transformation. But in order for that to happen, there must be safety, trust, and a feeling of unconditional love and acceptance. That is the foundation of my work. My clients feel safe with me because they know that I'm on their side. I encourage them to ask questions of me and I share openly about my own experiences and journey - because as long as I'm helping others heal, I'll be engaging in the work right alongside them. That's my promise.

I earned my Master's degree from The Family Institute at Northwestern University and have been practicing therapy for almost two decades. I co-own Revive Counseling and Wellness, LLC, a private therapy practice and wellness collective in South Bend, IN. We provide individual, couples, and family therapy and partner with reiki, yoga, and breathwork practitioners. I am licensed in three states: Indiana, Michigan, and Arizona.
